I'm new to this forum. So Hi everyones!

I want to import a HUGE contact list from another webmail where the export file extention is .csv.
In the HostPapa webmail, I use the RoundCube interface and the import file type is not mentionned exception made of the mention a "vCard data format" (wich I don't know of... and the Wikipedia link didn't helped me)

Does someone has a simple solution ?

And, later, I will certainly also need to know how to import from Outlook... From Hotmail, From gmail, ect...
Not for me, but for the members of my website who will get a brand new email adress from it.

Regards,

Motmaux.

Keep in mind these are shared servers and email is VERY limited. By default you can only send 50 messages per hour, and that is a combined total for all email addresses you set up, it is not per email address. If you have a huge number of contacts this is not the hosting environment for you and you should look at getting a 3d party email hosting solution.

Oh.. I didn't know that.

Does HostPapa has better webmail plans to offer ?
I would idealy need an infinite number of mail adresses... But let's say a hundred would be enought to begin.
I already have 10 accounts created and these emails will be used a lot... So I think that limitation is a real problem.

Hostpapa only has one plan. From what you describe I can tell you straight up hostpapa will not be able to meet your needs and you'll get suspended trying to send that much email. If you are within your 30 day money back period I'd cancel and get a refund. Don't count on any shared hosting provider to be able to cover that much email and plan on finding a 3rd party bulk email provider.

For now, the hosting plan seems fine. I would not ask a refund just because of this small email capability.

But if I'm going for a 3rd party email provider, will I be hable to use the domain name hosted here for domain part of the email adresses ?

Hi

Yes, if you go with an email provider, some modifications might be needed which your email provider should supply you with details
