Hi

We get sent a lot of large message attachments (autocad drawings etc) and I reckon the maximum size is set at 10Mb, is there a way to get this increased as quite often our customers are getting bouncebacks when they exceed this. Yahoo has a 25Mb limit.

I suppose it could be our Exchange Server that is rejecting them - which is it most likely to be ?

Hello

Yes, the outgoing attachment limit size on our shared servers is 10MB, I suggest that you create FTP accounts for users to upload/download big files but you will need to remove the files after use as our servers are for websites only

Thank you

Is there any where on the site to verify this information? The reason I ask is that I have just asked this of online  support and here is the reply I got:

Quote
XXXXX XXXXXX:
What is the maximum size of email attachments for receiving / sent emails on your servers and the total storage space for incoming email.

XXXXXXXX:
There is no limit to the storage space for you e-mail inboxes and the limit on attachments is 250mb

Confusing!

It is 10mb. The person who said it is 250mb is talking about the default quota size for your inbox and obviously didn't understand your question. Marc is right, the only way to get around the 10mb limit is to create ftp accounts for users to upload big files.
