Building a fairly simple website - the template I chose has one template box running down the left side of the page.

When I click on "Edit Template Boxes Now!" in the Template Manager I'm confronted with a drop down box that says "What do you want to put in this box?"  but the only two selections are "Nothing (disable)" and "Content from the Blog manager". 

1)  Is there any way to put anthing else other that Blog content in this template box?
2)  What is the "Blog manager"?
