After using Fantastico to install Drupal my folder is populated with a whole set of files.
Many of them are "." files, i.e. hidden files
Can I remove the ones I don't need?
Which ones are necessary?

At some point I want to override the Fantastico install to put up a fresh install of Drupal (a version that Fatastico doesn't install).
Will any of those files conflict?

You will need to submit a ticket to Support at http://www.hostpapa.com/customer-care-center with details, our technicians can look into this for you

You can manually install a different version of Drupal but you will need to uninstall the Fantastico Drupal installation first
