I’m considering a reseller hosting plan and apart from information about setting a remote access key, I can’t find anything anywhere about scripts that would allow me to have forms on my website that would automate the account set up process for clients.

If this is what I wanted, would I have to write my own scripts or is there anywhere I would be able to produce an automated script to copy and paste into my website?

You can either make your own scripts, or you can use WHMCS to automate the process of signup and ticket handling.
