I currently have multiple email accounts hosted on a GoDaddy server, and I just transferred a website (
www.WhatIsOnPEI.ca) for one of those accounts to my HostPapa server. The domain name is now in my HostPapa account, and I'm having difficulty making the MX records point to my GoDaddy server (where I want to continue to host my email).
What I'm currently doing is going to the MX Entry page within the HostPapa Control Panel, then I edited the MX Record for WhatIsOnPEI.ca to have the destination of a domain name that is also pointed to the GoDaddy server and giving it a priority of 0.
I must be doing this incorrectly because whenever I test sending an email, I keep getting bounced back with the message "Illegal Host/Domain Name Found".
Sorry, I'm a newbie, but I'm not getting anywhere's with this on my own so can somebody please help me?
