How long does it take for my account to be setup and my website to be live on the Internet?

After you sign up, you will receive an automatic email indicating that we received your payment.

The next step is one of our Hostpapa representitives will call you to confirm your order, often within a few hours, especially if you sign up during regular business hours (7:00am-7:00pm, Eastern). We do this for your protection.

After your confirmation, you will receive a "Welcome Email" from Hostpapa, containing all the necessary information you need to get started - such as your login information, how to access email, etc.

Once you have your welcome email, you can upload your web content using your temporary web access.

IMPORTANT POINT: It can take up to 24-48 for the entire World Wide Web to recognize your new domain name (this process is called domain propagation - and is totally not in the control of Hostpapa), Any time a new domain, or "web address" is created, it takes awhile for it to "propagate" to different servers (computers) scattered over the globe. In the meantime, a temporary address is given to you so you can upload your webfiles.

If you have not received your welcome email yet? You should receive it shortly after we call you to confirm your order with us. If you ordered outside of regular business hours (7:00am-7:00pm Eastern), it may take until the next day for the email to arrive.
