Hi Folks,

If you are thinking of installing a content management system, but would like to try one first, here is a good place to test and compare them:

http://php.opensourcecms.com/

Go to Open Source Demos on the left. You may also want to read the reviews.

Hope you find this useful.

I would like to try Magento eCommerce.  Has anyone on Hostpapa successfully installed it and got it working?  I am considering getting an account with Hostpapa but the one thing that has held me off so far is that Hostpapa doesn't have a one click install for Magento like say Hostmonster does.  They appear to have simplescripts installed which has a one click installer for Magento.  Fantastico does not have a one click installer for Magento.

I know I could probably install it manually with Hostpapa but it's so much more work, would be nice to have the script to install it.  Any plans to add simplescripts to Hostpapa so this could become a reality?

@Marek, thanks for sharing the link, that site will come in handy. I usually install a script, test it out and then either keep it or remove it and start all over again, so that site will be a time saver.

Another good site for finding a lot of free scripts is http://www.scriptdungeon.com/, I used to use this site a lot when I first started mucking around with more interactive type websites.
