Hi, I want to embed music players at various points in my website. And with only one specific song at each to hear. I want to be able to have a visitor click on  a button or link, and have a song play (relevant to what they are looking at) but WITHOUT going away from the page they are on.
All the music players I have tried so far go to a separate page and only see a grey player image as the song plays. I would like that little player image to be on the page they are on, so they can start or stop the music or play the song AS they read other parts of the same page.
Most embeddable players seem to want to add a big playlist. I only want one song here or there.
Anyone have a lead as to how I can do this?
Thanks

I would suggest looking into a basic flash mp3 player.  You can embed those into your html pages, or whatever you're using, and tell them to only play one song.  Expect to have to cut-and-paste code into your site, but other than that, it should be pretty easy.

Also, be careful when you're searching.  Some of the embedded players out there contain advertising in one form or another.

CoffeeCup software has a decent flash MP3 player you can embed into your site without ads, it costs around £15 but you get free updates for life
