Since when has the hourly email limit changed?

I have a small mailing list of about 100 people to whom I occasionally send an email.

This morning I found out that the limit was changed to 50 emails per hour.

You should inform your customers of such an important change.

We can increase the emails per hour to a max of 500 emails per hour to request this please email support@hostpapasupport.com

I am the owner of vitrisystems.com hosted by Hostpapa. I want the email limit to be changed to 500 per hour. I have already raised a ticket about 30 hours back. I have not received any response so far.

Please change the limit from 50 to 500 per hour for the domain vitrisystems.com ASAP.

With this limit in place, even with a max of 500/hr, how would one send a mass email to a group forum that has a user base of aprox 3,000 users. Other forums do it all the site, so wondering how one would do this.

With many forum programs you can send emails out in batches such as 200 members at a time.

Or you could export your email contacts to a program such as the following and send mass emails out

I just caught out with this 50 emails per hour limit. I don't remember being made aware of this limitation at the time I registered? It is unlike any other hosting I've used - and of course I discover this limitation as I am sending out multiple invitations to events next week. Can the limit for domain ecocureancomms.com be upgraded or changed to 500/hr?

hi i put support ticket in to increase all my emails to 500/hour. I was shocked to see this changed without letting us know.

I hope you can expedite this as i have an urgent mailing that needs to go out.

if the email limit is set to 50 or even 500/hour how does one send out an emailing using the mail list available on hostpapa that contains more emails than the set limit?

You can't. You'll have to create smaller mailing lists or use a 3rd party bulk-email company. Even Hostpapa uses an external company when emailing all customers because it can get their servers blacklisted sending out thousands of emails all at once.
