I use Agent for email, and also I check it on the server with Mailwasher Pro.

I've entered what appears to be the correct info into both of those programmes, and I now seem to be able to collect incoming email sent to my main email address. However, two things don't seem to be working.

1. If I try to use mail.mydomain.com as the outgoing server in Agent I can't send mail. When I swap back to my ISP's outgoing server Agent appears to send it.

2. However, I've sent myself 3 test emails that way, and none of them have shown up on the server. Emails sent to me by other people on the same address do appear there, though.

Does anyone have any idea what's happening, please?

I redirected my domain name servers to HP yesterday. My website is visible and working but my email isn't working properly.

I know I've set it up properly because some messages are getting through. For instance, I sent myself 4 test messages, numbered sequentially, but I've only received one of them: number 2 (although it took hours to arrive). I've also received some email from other sources.

I can't be sure how much is/isn't getting through, and/or getting out.

I've tried ringing technical support (the Contact details on the HP page say "Telephone Support Hours of Operation
Monday to Friday:  24 hours a day", and the good reports I read about technical support persuaded me to move here) but I just keep getting a recorded message telling me that everyone is busy and suggesting that I send an email. For reasons that should be obvious from the above, there's no point in my sending an email.

Can somebody please help me with this asap? I rely on my email, and I need to know why it isn't working and when it will be fixed.

Many thanks.
