FAQ: Do you provide shell access, SSH or Telnet?
Do you provide shell access/SSH or Telnet?
At this time, Hostpapa does not support Shell Access to our servers. We find that providing Shell Access makes our servers unstable and provides too much risk to the vast majority of our customers.
Although the cPanel manual has an ssh/telnet section, due to security risks in our shared environment, SSH access is not allowed.
