Hi,

You can just use Remote Info to transfer your site via FTP to the server.

FTP Host is your domain name: http://www.yourdomain.com
Host Directory is your public html directory: public_html/yourdomain

Login and password is what you use to access your account.

Don't forget to define your Local Info in DW. That's all.

Cheers,
Marek

I'm having the same problem. The worst part is I had finally got it set up back when I got the website and had to reinstall my
hard drive and now I'm back trying to figure it out. I remember it being finicky but I have no idea how. I've tried a whole bunch
of combinations and nothing works (including the above info). This is what I have tried and I can't figure out which set it is,
please help:

FTP Host: domainname.com, www.domainname.com, ftp.domainname.com, http://www.domainname.com, http://domainname.com

Host Directory: /home/username/public_html, /home/username/public_html/, /public_html/, /public_html/domainname,
 /home/username/public_html/ftp login account

Login: ftp account username, ftp account username@domainname.com, regular login username

Pwd: obviously whichever one goes with login

Nothing works. Depending on what I use I get a couple of different errors. Also, do I use passive FTP, IPv6 transfer mode,
firewall settings (set to 21) and / or secure ftp??

Help!! This is driving me nuts.... again!!! I wrote down some things from before but who knows if they were the actual
settings that worked.

I would appreciate any direction!!

Okay, if you are having problems with DW and can't get it to work, try using any of the free FTP clients like WinSCP or FileZila to transfer your site. Once installed, all you have to enter is this:

Host Name: yourdomain.com
Port: should be set to 21 by default
Username: your HP user name
Password: your HP password
File protocol: FTP

Once in your home directory navigate to public_html and upload your site.
