Hi,

Anyone know of a way for Fantastico Deluxe to install into layered subdirectories?  I am looking to install Gallery inside Drupal.  So if drupal is in /drupal I want to install Gallery into /drupal/gallery  yet it does not allow anything deeper than one folder.

Anyone know a way around this?

Lastly, is there a way to know what is the password for databases created?  If I want to run an update for example to Drupal as there is a security update, it requires that I provide the database name, user and password in order to update it.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan.

For sub folders you can try locating the makers of the product and see if they have install instructions. Sometimes you get lucky! FAQ masterFlex is such an item. (though I gave up after many hours of trying)

For the database passwords just log into cPanel/phpMyAdmin and you can see the dbase details there as well as MySQL area if you go there.

rather than use fantastico, go to the script owners and download their script directly from them and follow their installation instructions, be prepared to spend some time though, some are easier than others to install.
